Vertical lathe is used for processing large diameter, heavy workpieces which is difficult processed in Horizontal Lathe Machine. Vertical lathe has a vertical spindle. It is difficult to clamp heavy workpiece in horizontal Lathe Machine.

Vertical lathe also has CNC type lathe. Cnc Vertical Lathe has high rigidity. It can improve production efficiency and product quality greatly, reducing scrap and costs. Therefore, companies are mostly using CNC vertical lathe.

In the manufacturing process, it will cause some damage to the machine no matter how you maintain. So how to avoid friction and damage caused by manufacturing process is the research direction.
