Ordinary Lathe Machine is driven by gear and screw-nut. Due to the existence of the gap between the movement and inaccurate manual operation,ordinary lathe has lower accuracy. And it need to be stopped after manual measurement,so measurement error is large. In gereral,ordinary lathe machine is suitable for small batch, not high precision parts.
CNC Lathe Machine is driven by stepper motor to drive ball screw.Because the ball screw has interference, transmission is without gaps, so the accuracy depends mainly on the machine itself and procedure.In the processing process,cnc lathe can be automatically measured, and can automatically compensate for error caused by tool wear.So the processing quality is good, the accuracy is stable. You can also use the programming method to turn complex shapes.
CNC lathe machine is suitable for high precision, large batch, complex shape of the parts. Its maintenance costs is higher than the ordinary lathe.
Vertical lathe is mainly used for large pieces, and its spindle is vertical. Vertical lathe can also be digitally controlled.Most new enterprises use CNC lathe to improve productivity and product quality, reducing scrap rates and costs.
