The differences between manual vertical lathe, CNC lathe and vertical lathe

What are the differences between manual vertical lathe, CNC lathe and vertical lathe?
The manual lathe is driven by gear and ordinary screw nut. Because of the gap between the each movement and the inaccurate manual operation, the repeatability accuracy is low. Manual measurement is necessary when the lathe is stopped, and the measurement error is large and the efficiency is low. Manual vertical lathe is suitable for small batch, high precision and flexible parts.
CNC lathe is driven by stepping motor to drive ball screw , because the ball screw can have interference, transmission is without backlash, so accuracy mainly depends on the machine itself and procedures .CNC Lathe Machine can be automatically measured during machining, and can automatically compensate for tool wear and other causes of errors. Therefore, the processing quality is good, the precision is stable. Cnc Lathe Machine is suitable for parts with high precision, large batch and complex shape. But its maintenance cost is higher than manual lathe.
Vertical lathe is mainly used for large parts, and its main shaft is vertical. Vertical lathe also has numerical control type and manual type. Due to the lack of high-tech personnel, the new enterprises use Cnc Vertical Lathe to improve productivity and product quality.
