Usually in the process of vertical lathe processing,machine will be subject to many external effects.such as the effect of moving parts, the workpiece weight, and cutting force, driving force and so on. If vertical lathe has parts deformation, it will directly or indirectly make relative displacement between the tool and workpiece,thus affecting vertical lathe machining accuracy.So, to improve the stiffness,we should prevent these appearances.

In addition, if we want high processing power and high processing speed, we must ensure the vertical lathe has high machining precision.That is to saym the mechanical structure of vertical lathe need higher rigidity by reasonably plannning shape and size of the section.
