On one hand, the abnormal loss of mechanical parts and pipeline blocking and other factors will cause temperature rise in the corresponding parts. On the other hand, performance of mechanical parts has close relationship with temperature. When the temperature is too high, it will reduce the performance of parts,even burning the parts. therefore, the reason of equipment fault caused by heat factor is also an important factor .

In the vertical CNC lathe mechanical equipment fault diagnosis, temperature measurement can be divided into contact temperature measurement and non-contact temperature measurement. Contact temperature measurement has the fast, correct and convenient features,thus widely used in various industrial fields.
